- I have been a professional photographer since 1990. I hold a Master's Degree in photography from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have had various clients as a photographer: VDOT, Live Wire Magazine, the Jewish Federation, the Catholic Diocese, and Aberdeen Proving Ground, just to name a few. I moved to Pennsylvania in 2002 from Richmond, VA. Yes, I am a southerner, complete with accent. I moved here to marry my long-time friend and soon after (1 year), we had a beautiful baby boy. He is probably the one who really sparked my interest in children's portraiture. Kids are truly the funnest people to photograph. They are so at ease with the world. Photographing life and all its happenings from weddings to children to families is probably the biggest honor that can be bestowed upon someone. To have that momentary glimpse into someone's life and to capture it... it is a feeling like no other. Taking part in creating memories for a person's life story, I feel is an important roll and I treat it as such.
